The Story

Based on a True Story

Rochester, New York. Three young girls — each with the same first and last initial, each found in a village matching that letter. A pattern that chilled a city. A case that was never solved.

Megan Paige is a driven investigator with the Rochester Police Department, convinced that the murders are the work of a single serial killer. But her obsession consumes her — triggering hallucinations, a breakdown, and a two-year disappearance from the job she loves.

When a new body surfaces, Megan fights her way back onto the case. Partnered with Officer Steven Harper and shadowed by the ghosts of the dead, she races to catch a killer hiding in plain sight — one who has been closer to her than she ever imagined.

Inspired by the real-life Alphabet Murders that haunted Rochester from 1971 to 1973 — crimes that remain unsolved to this day.
